Hello,
My computer is an Acer, bought approx 1YN1/2. I kept getting a blue screen error, for approx a week, use to shut the system down before I could read it. The light turns on when I power it up, The key board and mouse have no light. The external speaker monitors do light up. I have tried cleaning it, and it was quite dusty, I tried taking out the memory, using the eraser on the memory. When the memory is out I dont hear any beeps, I havent heard any beeps since it shut down. Hoping its not the mother board. It sound like it wants to boot 4 approx 5 seconds then nothing. I dont have anything to test the powersupply, Im hoping that is it. The internal fan works ok. When I unplug the powersupply fan, the internal fan is much more powerful! The CD drive will try to read but I still get nothing there. No recovery disk or anything else works, the monitor doesnt get a signal. I dont know if its the hard drive. Im at a loss right now and just frustrated. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I do know a little bit about computers and I was hoping to fix it myself to save money, but I think Im going to need one of you experts on the job! Thank you for your time!

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 8.0
