Sharing Laptop and Computer with DSL Router

Hello,

I want to know that is it possible to conncet Laptop Vista and Computer XP which share same dsl router, abe to share files between them?

I don't have any patch/cross cable.

Please help me out .

If the router has multiple Ethernet ports then you can use regular cables. You will need to "share" the folders using Explorer on each computer.
