My compaq cq-40 wireless not working

Hello,
i have compaq cq-40 129tu with vist home premiun-32 bit, installed properly wireless driver and i see that driver on DEVICE MANAGER, but when i put on the on/off button at the front of the key-board on my leaptop then wierless not no.
so what to do. . .
