Disabling touch pad on Satellite L300D

Hello,

I'm having some major issues with disabling my touch pad on my Satellite L300D. I do not have the option to disable the driver in Hardware Manager, I cannot disable the mouse through the Control Panel, and I have tried uninstalling the driver manually. Every time uninstall the driver, it installs automatically, even without prompts, upon reboot. Is there a setting somewhere that I have overlooked? Is there an option to disable the disable function for the hardware? Is there some way to get around this issue? Please help.
