HELPPP!!!!!!!!!! AUDIO OUTPUT DEVICE

Hello,

I have a 2007 Sony Vaio. Yesterday I shut my computer down and turned it back on today to find my sound not working. The volume control has an x through it and when I go to click the volume control it says
"No Audio Output Device is Installed." I have no idea why this happened or what it means as my volume was working just fine yesterday. I also don't have any of the manuals or discs the comp came with.

URGENT PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

Hi there,

open control panel got to

sound properties and raise the volume sliders

as well check the device manager to see if the driver

is still present there and working

and for the drivers it can be downloaded from link below:

http://esupport.sony.com/perl/select-system.pl
