I downloaded IE 8 and was advised to restart the computer to have IE 8 installed, the computer was turned of by hitting the recommended restart button, now my computer will not even start in safe mode, I am typing this on my laptop, what do I do, windows has smashed my computer, my system is windows xp, I just get a blank screen like the computer is not turned on but it is as you can see the light that says its on is on.
