Hello, I updated my speakers and the computer says they are updated and the device is working. However they are not for some reason. When i pull up the sound information when something is playing it goes up and down and shows the volume is at 100 and you can see the volume going up and down when someone is speaking but there's no sound.they are realtek high definition audio speakers. Would my speakers still make a static sound if they were blown?

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 8.0
