Hello, i have 2 computers. One laptop (acer as1410) with windows vista home premium, and a stationary that i built myself some years ago with Abit motherboard and windows xp pro installed.
the problem is to share my files from vista to xp. The adhoc wireless connection comes up, and i see the other computer on both of them.
There is no problem to share and to download files from the xp computer to the vista, but the problem is opposite way. it shows the computer on the network-list, but i can not connect to it.
i wish to backup my notebook to the stationary. wish to make folders available to the xp and to send files that way.
what am i doing wrong, since obviously the connection works the opposite way!?!
thanks

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 8.0
