Wirless connection problem

Hello,
I have Windows XP Pack 3 on my PC and use wirless usb adaptor to get internet connection.Quite often i loose internet connection and Windows is trying to restore the connection by asking a question if I have Ethernet connection or wirless connection.This is is very annoying and time consuming. Please help
