Internet explorer cannot

Hello,

Hi For the last 4 weeks have experienced difficulty keeping my broadband connection open, is very slow and am constantly getting

" Internet Explorer cannot display the Web page" and then a button with

"DIAGNOSE connection problems" and then a small window with

"network diagnostic for Windows XP"

having ran this, the connection is restored for five minutes and then have got to do it all over her again.

needless to say I'm getting very fedup, can anyone help her me.

PS

in the first instance, i phoned my broad brand provider,virgin media and he checked and told me everything was alright from his point of view, and then I contacted bullguard my anti-virus and firewall the provider, but even without any protection from bullguard or window firewall, I still got the problem.
