I cannot hear anything from my monitor

Hello,

Well im tying to figure out how i can hear from my monitor. My monitor only has two plugs the one that connects to the computer and the other that connects to the electricity.

I can hear from my headphones, but not my monitor i have realtek digital output?
I am not good at this....


can anyone help me please :)

I have tryed actually putting the volume keys all the way up. and the monitor doesnt have a key for the volume which sucks. And i know everything is connected right :(
