Wrong letters

Hello,
When I try to type for example the(at) simbol another caracter comes out.What is wrong with the keyboard? I have an HP Windows Vista Laptop.

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 8.0

Dear Lucy,

This should be a misprinted key. Please try all the keys and find the @ key.

Also try to see whether there is no function assigned to this key.
