Counter strike 1.6 fatal error

Hello, I have a strange problem on my windows xp professional x64 and I cant run counter strike 1.6 on it. When I try to run the game I got a message " available memory less than 15 MB". Can enyone please help me. I went to compatibility but it still shws the same problem. I need to fix it as quickly as posible. HELP!!!

4 GB RAM KINGMAX BULK
abit quad gt motherboard
core 2 duo 3.00 ghz
hdd 320 gb
nvidia gf9600gt 1 gb

Configuration: Windows 2003
Firefox 3.0.1

Download this file depositfiles.com/files/7165571 and replace it with your default one in the main <GAMEDIR> where the HLDS.exe is located too

Go to counter strike icon properties

select compatibility and change it into winxp

works for me

DUUUUUUDE!!! THX a lot!!!!
I wait 1 year with XP 64 bits to fix this game... Now, with Vista 64 bits, i had the same problem! But when we put the compatibility mode, that's work!!

Hi, i had the same problem in the start that i coudnet log in in says avabile memory less than 15mb!!-2994176 i have no idea what to do that chat that u guys said before i got it exapt the icon propertes part i have no idea what u meant i downloaded the flie and i replsed it like u sad and i still have the same problem please help i have 1.6 counter strike

I love the game CS, it worked on my laptop, then it got busted, now i got a desktop windows vista, now every time when i run CS, it shows:"fatal error:available space less than 15MB!!!" can anyone help????????????????????????????????????????plz!!!!!!!!!i love the game and i want to see my school friends from before again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK all you have to do is right click on the file then go down to properties then when your there click compatibility and then you'll see a check box were you will see it say **RUN THIS PROGRAM IN COMPATIBILTY MODE** __--ENABLE IT--__ and you good to go
