No videos, and errors for both firefox & expl

Hello,

So I had this problem on my old and now BRAND new laptop. When I am trying to do something a little bit more complicated than writing on facebook, like for example watch videos livestream from either globaltv.ca, ctv.ca or youtube.com, my computer WILL NOT load the video, instead it says that the program (explorer or firefox) is not responding. On this computer I have windows 7. I dont know if that helps or screws me over.
