Hello,

I am stuck on how to write a formula to pull information from sheet 2 in my workbook. What i want to be able to do is on sheet 1 a3 type a product code, then sheet 1 b3 to search the information on sheet 2 to match the product code and pull up the item description from sheet 2 and put it into sheet 1. i hope this makes sense, I know what I am trying to do i just cant get it to work right, I have been using the IF formula and I don't think that is right.

It is difficult to give a solution as I do not know configuration of sheet 2

you have to use "vlookup" function or "index-match" function. see help under these items
