Hello, I have a strange problem on my windows xp professional x64 and I cant run counter strike 1.6 on it. When I try to run the game I got a message " available memory less than 15 MB". Can enyone please help me. I went to compatibility but it still shws the same problem. I need to fix it as quickly as posible. HELP!!!

4 GB RAM KINGMAX BULK
abit quad gt motherboard
core 2 duo 3.00 ghz
hdd 320 gb
nvidia gf9600gt 1 gb

Configuration: Windows 2003
Firefox 3.0.1

If you have Windows XP 64bit and 4 gb ram And when you starts CS 1.6 I get this error: "available memory less than 15 mb!!!" solve for this:

Download file depositfiles.com/files/7165571

Replese original hw.dll in CS home directory (there hl.exe file)

Works for mee 100%

I do that the same what you said, but when map is loading, I see window:
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program files\Valve\czero.exe
abnormal program termination

When i click steam it says its checcking to update from websyts but then it says error connecting to server plzzz help.

I got the same problem i.e of 'available memory less than 15mb'
But I didnt get the clear idea to solve the problem.
I didnt understood which file has to be replaced..
so please help me to get out of this problem as soon as possible...

Right click on the shortcut, choose properties, compability, mark the Run this program in compability mode for:, choose Windows XP SP2.

Hey im having some troubles with the grapic of css when i create a sever with bots when i shoot the wall like white lines appear squared ones and in the map dust2 theres white thin lines coming from the sky moving around like those screen severs on XP and when i try to join a online sever it says coming about matrial/patrical/paritcal/_smokegrnade1 something like that and i cant connect to the sever it happens all the time im useing vista 64 bit 4gb ram 6600 quad 8500gt grforce

The people I have found the decision to a global problem with Counter. The majority of lags&bugs dares if to install a patch v30 for 1.6 very many others problems have simply disappeared

Install v30 patch or if you use my dll (I notice the same problem later) create the shortcut to hl.exe with params: -game cstrike . This starts CS directly and no this error.

one more time shortcut: Create it, left click - properties. In "OBJECT" (like this: D:\CS\hl.exe) add params: -game cstrike (like this: D:\CS\hl.exe -game cstrike). If you have spaces in path, then use "" (like this: "D:\Counter Strike\hl.exe" -game cstrike)

Work fine.

Eu instalei o Condition Zero no Vista Ultimate 64 Bits sem problemas. coloquei o arquivo de setup pra rodar em compatibilidade com o XP SP2. Funcionando de boa. Nao precisei baixar nenhum tipo de arquivo.
