Hello,
I have a HP w2408h monitor. It's connected to my computer with a (new) HDMI-DVI cable. This works fine until the point the monitor goes standby. When I return to my computer it won't respond and it says no input signal. I tried turning off the power saver but the same problem reappears. Sometimes it'll work again by restarting but most of the time this doesn't work and I have to reconnect everything again and just hope it'll work again. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
As you can imagine this is quite frustrating. Does anybody have an idea how to solve this? Would be greatly appreciated.

Alex

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.5.3

Dear Alex,

Please check whether the 15 pin monitor cable and its power supply cable is not damaged.

This should be the source of the problem. Nevertheless do make sure that the graphic card

and motherboard is working properly.

Thanks in advance.
