Why my harddisk is now zero bytes

Hello,
I tried formatting my [ Hard disk] but unfortunately the lights went off and after the lights came back my hard disk was detected zero bytes of capacity

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.5.3

plug it in other pc as slave

then format it from disk management

or by hp disk format tool
