Only green light of cpu works with the fan,

Hello,
only green light of cpu works with the fan, but nothing is shown on the monitor except no signal.
yellow light doesnt blinks at all. what must be the problem
core2 duo processor
intelchipset motherboard ( gigabyte 945)

Dear Shiv,

This could be resulting from the fact that the power supply is having some problem. One way to

fix it would be to remove the power supply cable of the CPU and to press the power button for some

10 seconds. You will then have to connect the power supply cable back and power on your PC. This

should solve the problem that you are having.
