Network adapter doesnt connect to the interne

Hello,
can anyone help me; my Belkin G USB Network Adapter was workin and all of a sudden stopped workin. wen i try to connect it wont connect to the internet neith any available networks. it tells me that the Belkin 54 G Wireless USB Network Adapter is experiencing driver or hardware related problems. i checked the update and drivers are up to date . can u help me as to how to fix this problem.cannot connect to the internet. pls help me someone.
