Dear Yannis,

Please have the solution of your problem at the following address:

Problems Using Firefox?

However there are many details that you have missed. You should indicate what message is displayed

when you try opening the applications. This will be really helpful. Get to MS DOS and type the

following command: ping www.google.com and press enter. You can type any address that you want,

it is just an example. You will be confirmed whether you do have connection and if your PC is

able to contact remote servers. It will then be a connection problem if the pinging attempts

fail. If otherwise, please consider deactivating your firewalls and using Firefox. Also

consider scanning your system for looking whether there is no virus infection.

Hope that the instructions provided above solves the problem that you are

actually having.

Thanks.
