Avira is not updating.

Hello,
when i am trying to update my antivirus then a pop up is opening in which an application error is coming.it is showing like exception in module AVGNT.EXE(09.00.00.12).

Configuration: Windows XP service pack 2 .Internet Explorer 6.0,avira antivirus personel-free antivirus(en)

You should check it out whether it is a genuine copy. If it is not an original copy, you won't be able to
