My ipod is dead and im havin trouble chargin

Hello, my ipod touch went completely dead, now when i plug it up it will act like its gonna charge for like 10 seconds then it will try to turn itself on and its just cuts back off and starts over. does anyone know what i should try to get it to just charge or even turn on again?

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Dear Sir,

Please try holding the menu button and the center button simultaneously for some thirty seconds. It should solve

the problem that you are having. If the problem still persists, it might been that there's some problem in the

iPod itself. You will then have to reformat your iPod and clean the drive completely. You will however lose all the

songs and files that you saved on it.
