Hello,
My laptop screen is broken and I want to connect it to an external monitor. I have an acer series 4330 and some type of dell montior. As soon as I turn on both the laptop and monitor the startup is displayed on the monitor, then after a few seconds it automatically switches back to the laptop screen. At that point I use the fn + f5 to switch back to the monitor but it does nothing. I am hoping somebody knows what the problem might be.

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0
