Short key for openig a terminal in linux..

i had aproblem with my mouse it's not working . did any body know the short cut cey to open the terminal . please help me out .....we can open a new terminal after opening the terminal with mouse by using "shift+ctl+N"... i wana 2 open only with keyboard.........

i will wait 4r your reply ...................
