Hello,
My name is Seraj from Saudi Arabia, I change security code of my mob Nokia 5130c-2. Now I forget the change one pl anyone let me know how I can restore original one with out going to Nokia care.

Configuration: Windows XP
Safari 532.0

Hi there,

type these codes:

*#7780#

but this will restore it factory setting

and all data will be lost

or you can remove the battery and leave it for few hours

By restoring with *#7780# Asking "Security Code" that I do not know. So, process not executing.

We have a same problem untell now.. i didnt use my nokia 5130 c-2 mobile.. can you tell me how can i open my mobile? its ur prblem fix already? can u teach me how.. eamil my add imeaditely//pls.. some of the furum i nid to type star.. but i cannot type it.. and i remove my baterry for an hour but still not working.. thnx

The default security code for most of the Nokia phones are 12345 or 00000.

Turn off your phone

take out memory card and sim card

press key 3 + green call key + *

turn on phone while pressing those keys

phone is formmating

???

profit !!!

(btw, security code changes to 12345 then)
