Hard Disk not found During XP Installation

Hello,
I want to install XP in Japanese Toshiba Laptop. But During installation There is no hard disk show in which to install XP.

Configuration: Windows XP
Opera 9.80

Hi there,

you need to get in the system bios and

disable sata/native mode

save and exit then restart pc by installation disk
