Hi,

you can try this :

In start / execute : Regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Microsoft -> Office -> 11.0 -> Delivery
You should have this key 90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9
clik on it and (at the right of your screen), right clik on CDCache key.
and type 0 as new value

I dindn't find the one that you said, but I gambled and tried it on ; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Delivery\{90110409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9}
and it (seemingly) worked. Well, my Excel now opens.
Thanks for the map to the maze. Now, I hope that no one moves the cheese.

hi..i have the same problem regarding sku011.cab. i tried what you suggested however when my computer was installing excel updates, a message prompted saying "..source file not found D:\msocache\all users..." .what will i do?thanks.
