I'm having a problem getting into any safemode mode or even the last good config..so ive tried everything..nothing works and i ran chkdsk says no label on volume c: but shows a serial number..and when I run chkdsk /p /r it shows that a volume was created on 08/24/01..so what to do..ive been trying everything for 2 days now..i'm friggin ready to throw the thing out the window..only reason i havent formatted my hd is because I dont want to lose all my pics and my docs...somebody HELPP!!!!!! PLEASE

i'm using win xp home edition on hp pavillion dv1000
