Hello,
my laptop starts with the toshiba screen then to a black screen then to a little green thing moving across a little long circle. I bought this at a well known electronics store, didnt have the money to buy the extended warranty but I just bought this in april. when I bought it they took it and made 2 recovery discs and aa apps and drivers disc for 160.00. I put the first recovery disc in and it then when to a screen to choose between a toshiba recovery wizard which didint work at all and the other recovery method. I t went so far to finally give me a few more options. It wont let me repair on startup, cant run chkdsk /f cause it says my disk is write protected. At one point it said I had no hard drive. Basically I'm just floating in the water and not quite sure if I'll sink or swim after paying out almost a grand on this thing.

Configuration: Windows vista home basic
Firefox 3.0.11
