Trouble downloading Flash player 9

Hello,

I am having trouble installing the flash player...I download it, then click on the icon to install then it says i need exit "the following applications" and it has firefox on there. So i exit out of my firefox and click it again but the same thing happens over and over even with firefox closed...whats wrong, the flash player website says its compatible with firefox...

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.1

Hi there what i would advise you is that to try to download on the microsoft website itself its more useful.

go to this website and in the search menu type flash player and you will get a list of all the results found

Firefox runs in the background even if you close the window. Kill the process that runs firefox (it's firefox.exe) in task manager and then you can install....hope that helped

Hey i used to have that problem. I used to get task manager up and close all Firefox/IE Applactions then i tryed to install Flash Player again and it said the same thing. But i restarted my computer and tryed to install Flash Player and it worked.

Try that and i hope it helps!
