Hello,
I have a brand new Dell XPS One with Vista ultimate pre-installed by Dell. I get random freezes of apps (no matter which, browser, office apps, systems, etc.). They freeze, on average, for about 20 to 40 seconds and then come right back. During that time the HDD indicator light is solid blue. Dell's recommendation is to install Win 7. I guess they are running out of ideas. Any suggestions before I take the OS change option?
