Auto filter problems

Hello,

i am facing a problem with auto filter. excel 2003
i have 2000 rows and about 6 coloumn. i have saved my data.
due to some reason i cant find some items when sorted through coloum a.
say for eg : coloumn a consists company names. ( abc, xyz, aaa, bcc) coloumn b: contains : name of person.

when i find the name of company abc from drop down list of coloumn a i cant find its name anywhere.
when i make a find by ctrl f . i can find it .
when i make a find it in coloumn B: THRU drop down list and find for the respective name of person i can find it.

in coloumn i have problem for only few of the company names. resti can see it. i tried changin name, putting it with space withou space. but nothing helped.

when in need i wnt to find i am not able to thru auto filter

please help what can i do.

Just one suggestion
Please ensure that there are no blank lines in the filtered area A wise man once said, 'I complained that I had no shoes unti­l I met a man who had no feet.'
