No signal in my modem

Hello, My wirelss modem power pack quit so, I got another one from a local store with the same specs. Power was restored but there was no signal. Modem Supliers advice I get a new one. I want to open the modem to see if it can be fixed but there are no screws. It is sealed.

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 8.0
