Screen Turns Black

Hello,

I am having a problem with my HP Pavilion, When I boot it up it runs normal set up, but right before its about to boot into vista, the screen turns black...it has the welcome screen and all that, but right when its about to go to all my stuff, black screen. I tried the take out the battery trick and pushing the power button but its not working. It seems to boot up in safe mode, but wont let me run any of my programs...any advice?

Configuration: Windows VISTA Internet Explorer 8.0

Dear JMC,

There might be different sources for this problem, firstly it might be a trojan which is causing this problem. Try

confirming whether it is not a trojan and remove it if you find any. Yet it could be a clear indiaction that you are

having troubles with your video card. This might be for the fact that your CPU is getting over heated. The only

solution to it will be replacing it. Please confirm the source of the problem that you are facing.
