Deactivating the GPRS icon on samsung star

Hello,

How can I deactivate the GPRS connection on my samsung star (wifi)? I tried clicking on the wifi connection in the browser profiles but the GPRS icon remains on top of the screen. Please help. I'm a new user of a samsung phone.

Dear Sir,

This icon indicates you that you are connected to the web. In order to remove it you will have to get to

your browser and select "Done" and you will automatically be disconnected. This will solve your problem.
