can you help i have a hp pavillion slimline s3040 desktop which i bought as a non-running which the seller said he'd being told it could be the psu.
the PC won't boot no output signal to the monitor,power supply as a constant green light lit, the fan spins up when turned on.the hd drive spins up,the dvd drive will eject / return.
i have taken the usb & dvd power connections off mobo, still doesn't boot
i have taken the ram out and tried to boot, no beeps & still doesn't boot.
beginning to think it could be the mobo. but would like to be 100% it is not the power supply or something else i could check
