The hard drive light is not on

Hello,
I have an acer desktop computer. few days ago the image suddenly freezed and nothing even mouse didn't work. So I turned it off and when I turned it on I noticed that the hard drive light is not on and the monitor is black and it says it doesn't receive any signal. Can you please help me with this problem?

Hi there,

the problem is with your

power supply or power cord

check the power cord first if good

then definitely the psu

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I think the power supply is ok since the fan inside the computer is working and the light that shows the computer is on is working as well. the only problem is that when I turn it on the light that shows the cpu is working is off and the screen is black. What do you think?
