Hello,

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium. As of just about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks ago It stopped doing a proper shutdown, and or restarting properly. It has done some updating for the OS from Microsoft, and after finishing with that wanted to restart but it only gets as far as shutting down & it just hangs there for forever. There is some harddrive activity at first when it reaches the point where it says shutting down & then no more harddrive activity & it just hangs on the shutting down screen. Are there any known issues with any of the updates from microsoft??

Configuration: Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop
Windows Vista Home Premium
Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18828

Dear Sir,

This might be from the fact that you have been shutting down your

laptop improperly many times before. I will hence advise you to

format it. Bear in mind though that you will have to make a back up

copy of your database.

Thanks.
