Windows won't start

Hello,
My daughter has the small Aspire one netbook which has no disk drives. It came with no disk and can re install windows - except can't bring up the start menu to get to it. Any one have any ideas...can't find a safe mode on this little thing.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.5.3

Hi there,

press and hold F8 when booting

ten choose safe mode

other thing you can do to install windows again

is by installing it through a usb pendrive
