Hello, i`ve got a windows vista dell laptop. was about to install adobe softwares into my laptop for assignment purposes. the thing is that after the setup has finished downloading , it mentions that my internet explorer needs to be closed in order to continue but i`ve already closed IE. i`ve tried shutting down my lap and downloading it again but the same message keeps popping out. help !! and thanks.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.14

HI,

I would advise you to use a different browser for that matter, why don't you try using Mozilla Firefox and see if you can be able to download adobe and install it.

Else

after closing internet explorer the windows disappears but it's process is still running in the background, may be you should try to end this process using the task manager.

Well my adobe is cd. i`m installing it from a cd and not from the internet :)

Hi,

Open Task Manager and end the process of internet explorer or any browser.
Then try to install.
