How to bind IP with MAC to access Internet

Hello,

i want to permit a PC to access Internet with its IP and MAC. but internal communication will remain with IP only.

my all access layer switch is cat2960, Gateway switch is cat4507R (layer3), PIX 515E for internet. PIX is connected to Cat4507 L3 port.

how can i restric Internet access user with its MAC ?

Hi buddy,

well i think that you cannot do that using a mac. what you will need instead is a net client whereby it is designed to access some specifi web pages.

i do not want to restric specific web page but i want to permit internet access through MAC address so that nobody can go internet using other user's IP......... in his own PC.

is it possible throgh cat4507 L3 switch ?
