Faulty power

Hello,

my computer has been dead for awhile cause I had to get a new cord. well, now i have a universal hp cord that fits my laptop, but the charging signal just flickers. it comes on for a second and cuts off. what should i do?

Hi there,

the voltage is not correct

use an adapter that has same voltage and frequency and amp

as the original
