Hello,

I recently bought linksys wireless router and having problems while configuring it on windows vista home.

I read many blogs that while configuration I need to connect the LAN from the modem(DSL in my case) to the router(WAN port) and also one more wire(which came with the router) to the laptop. If I have to connect my laptop with router then how it is wireless network or is it only required to do the setup?
Do I require one PC/laptop always connected with wireless router and then only I can take advantage of being wireless(I hope no)? When can I disconnect the cable between router and laptop and use internet as well?

I am really a beginner for this so please help.

Thanks,

Configuration: windows vista IE 7.0
