Hello,
I'm having the same problem
as Girl. I have a new computer that I got a few years ago and have not used. I turned it on when I first got it to make sure it worked and it did. I have had it stored since then. Now when I want to set it up and use it, I only get the black screen on the monitor except for these three messages: "1. Auto Detect Analog Input, 1. Auto Detect Entering Power Save, 1. Auto Detect In Power Save Mode Press computer power button or any key on keyboard or move mouse". When I press a button or move the mouse it does absolutely nothing, the monitor just goes black and then it turns off, meanwhile the computer is on and running and the CD drive opens and closes. Everything is on except for the monitor. The keyboard is connected but does nothing. I have tried the monitor with another computer and it works fine. How do I get it out of power save mode with this computer? Why is it doing this? I did replace the battery inside the computer in case that was the problem, but it didn't help. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
