How does my computer get infected by a virus?

Infection can occur in different ways 4sure. if you start your computer from an already infected disk, use an infected file or application on your computer, or use your disk in an infected computer that then spreads the infection to your disk.. :)

U got infected just by allowing a malicious program to run on ur system... it automatically infects the files n drives windows crazy most often.. i hate viruses!!!!

many web sites also have hidden virus's, I suggest you use your pop up blocker, and always keep your Firewall on, and use a virus scanner. I also run spybot once a week, and it finds anything that shouldnt be there. Keyloggers, spyware and virus's/ Dont click on links you dont know where they lead too. and never download files
