Hello, I am trying to use my new Sceptre X240BV-FHD 1080p LCD TV/monitor as my monitor for my
Gateway DX 4200-09 Running windows Vista 64 bit, via a 12ft 1080p grade HDMI cord by rocketfish. there are HDMI in ports on the tv, and an HDMI out on the back of my computer next to the vga plug.. when I conect the computer to the tv with the HDMI cord nothing happens the screen stays blue and says "no input" or "non compat"... I have tried adjusting the screen resolution with no luck and am very confused. one would think this would be simple.. What do I have to do to get this to work using HDMI? any help or suggestions would be greatly apreciated

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.5.3

Did you use the correct F key to change the display to the external port? Or did you change the display via software? You may also have to change the sound device or run a separate sound cable - depending on the hardware in your PC. Sound output is not sent to the HDMI port by default.

Good Luck
