Hi,

Upgrading graphic cards is impossible since it is a hardware device, and any manupulations can cause damage to it.

Also keep in mind that a Cpu can use only 1 grafic card at a time..

So if you want to change your grafic card you must either.

Remove it completely from your Motherboard or disable this device so as not to cause conflict to your machine.

Trying to use 2 grafic cards can cause damage to you whole system and damage your computer.

If your are having slots problem just remove your actual geforce completely.

Hope above tips can help you!

@Virus:
I am afraid you are a bit behind the times. Some laptops do have video upgrade capability. The ASUS C90 is one example. It just takes a couple of minutes to upgrade video.

In the laptop that o3h8x has, upgrading the video card is currently not possible. I am sure ther are some exotic and expensive upgrades possible that cost more than the laptop.There are a number of Dell laptops where video upgrades can be done. On some Acer,Toshiba and Sony laptops it is also doable

I heard that HP fused the graphics card on the HP pavilion 6500 together with their motherboards so if you want an upgrade, you have order off of HP instead and i don't think their computer components are top-tier enough to handle up-coming game releases so. iam not sure if this is the case though, it's a rumor...
