Perhaps there has been a bad manupulation of the Os ,what you must do it to boot on safe mode and try to solve the problem. Follow below steps. Switch on your computer. And press F8 . you will have the booting choice select safemode. Once you are on safe mode try to indentify your computer problem and solve it. Re-installing devices and scan it. Hope i help u :) |
I had a similar problem with my HP M1170n Media Center computer. I had to kill the power, unplug USB devices and reboot. This got me past the locked SAFE mode screen and back into Vista. After getting into Vista, I was able to replug my USB devices. |
