System restore no save state

I finally got my system retore enabled and now i dont have a previous state is there any way i can get my system restored.

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Could you explain how you had previously enabled your restore system in details please.

This would of great help for us to solve your matter.

(Also give more details about your operating system)
